Academic Appeals

Any student desiring to appeal a grade which they received from CTS may, within 30 days of the grade being given, do the following:

1)  An extension student must make an appointment with the professor of the class to discuss the issue.  An External Studies student must telephone the Academic Dean to discuss the issue.

2)  After discussing the issue with the professor/Academic Dean, the student must submit a written request to the Academic Dean for re-evaluation of the grade in question.

3)  If the issue is not resolved satisfactorily, the student must address a written appeal to the Academic Committee.

4)  The decisions of the Academic Committee are final.
