The need for a comprehensive, college-level textbook on the subject of Christian education has long been felt, and it is hoped that Exploring Christian Education will at last meet that need.  It has been in preparation for many years and combines the knowledge and expertise of several outstanding scholars in this field.  Although the book is written from the Wesleyan-Arminian viewpoint and draws illustrations and examples chiefly from churches of this tradition, a theological bias is not apparent.  Indeed, the principles of evangelical Christian education are quite universal, which makes this text an authoritative expression fo all who are concerned with the nurture of the heart as well as of the mind.

This book is used as the text book for course CH-550 Exploring Christian Education.
