To better understand the Bible, it is necessary to know its geographical context.  This survey of biblical geography attempts to provide this knowledge.  Biblical Backgrounds give the physical settings in which the great dramas of the Bible unfolded.  From the time of Abraham to Jesus and the apostles, it describes the lands of the Bible and indicates the historical happenings in them.
